What? The 66th International Motor Show will show off all the latest trends and technological highlights of the automotive industry in 2015. Expect to see on show the Audi Q6 e-tron, a face lifted Porsche 911, the new Bugatti Vision Gran Turismo and plenty more…

Rugby World Cup

What? This one needs no introduction – the much-anticipated men’s rugby union tournament contested once every four years is headed to the UK this year.

Where? Various venues across the UK – the host cities are Birmingham, Brighton & Hove, Cardiff, Exeter, Gloucester, Leeds, Leicester, London, Manchester, Milton Keynes, Newcastle and Rugby (obviously).

When? 18th September-31st October

Oktoberfest

What? The world’s biggest beer festival and fun fair, attended by over 6 million people each year. The main attraction is the beer, which must be at least 6% alcohol by volume and brewed within the city limits to be served. But also on offer are rides, side stalls, games and traditional German food.

Prix de l’Arc de Triomphe

What? Just when you thought races season was over for the summer… Head to Longchamp for the 93rd Qatar Prix de l’Arc de Triomphe – a.k.a. the world’s most prestigious horse race. The world’s best thoroughbreds will be out in force as over 60,000 spectators flock to watch them battle for 5 million Euros.

London Cocktail Week

New York City Wine and Food Festival

F1 United States Grand Prix

What? Formula 1 racing goes West in this year’s US Grand Prix, which will be held in Austin, Texas. Pack your cowboy hat and yee-hah down to one of the biggest events in the F1 calendar- last year’s US Grand Prix was one of the biggest in 2014, attended by over 250,000 guests.
