Viral Videos of the Week

It’s time for another round-up of our favourite Internet hits of the week! This week, our viral videos include a spider attack, a bad case of caffeine deprivation and a genius idea for deterring road rage. Enjoy!

1. Watch a very determined dog

They say perseverance is the key to success (for more motivational quotes, have a read of Words of Wisdom). And someone clearly told this dog, who, when left alone with an enticing cookie, continues to jump for it time and time again, despite it being placed firmly out of his reach on the draining board.

2. Watch a caffeine-deprived weatherman hold his cup upside down

Some people are very good at subtly hinting for their colleagues, roommates and family to refill their empty coffee cup. In this video which has gone viral this week, unsuspecting cyclist David Hesson records the spider perched on his saddle, blissfully unaware that it is in fact a jumping spider. So you can imagine his shock and horror when the spider decides to jump at him…

4. Watch genius paper aeroplane machine gun

You already known 3D printing can produce some seriously impressive feats – most notably, cars. But we would never have thought of using it to print hardwearing paper aeroplanes, and we definitely wouldn’t have thought to team them with a machine gun. Keep this one out of reach of children…

5. Watch dog road rage

Ever found yourself under attack from an angry driver with a bad case of road rage? This driver had a novel approach to escaping an altercation: opening his back window and letting his big black dog deal with it. Sure enough, a few barks later the angry man retreats to his vehicle without confronting the driver…
