Choosing this week’s Littlefish Loves was a no brainer. There’s only one set of new product releases that’s got everyone talking, and it’s Microsoft’s suite of new Windows 10 products. All of the new products have been much-hyped and billed “a new era” for the computer giant.
And the star of the show and the biggest surprise of the suite was Microsoft’s first ever laptop. Dubbed “The Surface Book”, it is designed to take on Apple’s Macbook and analysts believe it may revive the ailing PC market.
It’s a laptop and a tablet – a screen with a removable keyboard. But it solves our main gripe about hybrids – namely, lack of stability and convenience – with a unusually designed hinge that hold the screen at whatever angle you want.
Add to that a 3000×2000 resolution, 6 million pixels, a 12-hour battery life and a minimum of 8GB RAM and it looks like Microsoft finally have a long-awaited laptop replacement that can tackle the Macbook head-on…
Microsoft’s Surface Book will start at $1,499 and is available to pre-order in the US now.
